To maintain sobriety, finding new interests and building a support network can work to cut off the desire for alcohol. Slide 5-Jeffery This is a rehabilitation service offered in the residential setting, rather than traveling to a clinic. It is usually for people who require extensive physical or emotional support, and outpatient programs can’t meet their needs. Slide 6-Jeffery This does not require patients to stay overnight. Instead, patients travel to a clinic or other facility specifically to attend sessions and then leave, rather than remain hospitalized, as in the case of inpatient rehab. Outpatient also tends to be less expensive.
